Welcome to the site of a brand new service for education - a repository of cartoons with a Climate Change theme you can use in your publishing projects, but more importantly, a place where you can commission cartoons for your projects, even cartoons based on your ideas. If you like one of our published cartoons, you can download it for the princely sum of $AU8 - profits will go to feeding a starving artist's family. The 'watermark' on each cartoon is, of course, not on the original which you will download. The original is also of a much higher quality. If you'd like to commission a cartoon for a specific publication, that will be supplied to you (and the copyright will be assigned) for $AU40 (plus tax in Australia). Then, if you'd like to add your cartoon to this site as a cartoon for purchase by someone else (your idea - our drawing) we'll split the proceeds with on a 50-50 basis. Couldn't be fairer. All in all, the site operates on the principle that humor in general, and cartoons in particular, have an important role to play in education and publishing about Global Warming issues. Let's face it folks, the issue isn't going away and will only get worse. Humour can serve to soften the impact of the effects of change but more importantly, will make your documents more 'readable' - a classic example of infotainment. |
